Assurance Manufacturing to Offer Three- to Seven-Day Prototype Turnaround for OEM Customers
Minneapolis, Minnesota (October 2005) — Assurance Manufacturing Inc. has established a quick turn prototype program that provides sheet metal fabrications, chassis, enclosures, stampings and assemblies in a three to seven day time frame. This service will be provided to design engineers, project managers and purchasing agents in the OEM market place.
The company is able to accelerate the prototype process through an in-house tooling department, which allows all tooling to be performed and closely coordinated with customer requests at one single facility.
The process for the new quick turn program will be simple. Participating customers send Assurance Manufacturing Customer Service electronic CAD files in SolidWorks, Pro-E and/or AutoCAD. Customer Service personnel will respond within 24 hours with quotes and delivery information established by the availability of materials and the complexity of the required parts.
Assurance Manufacturing capabilities, personnel and state of the art equipment makes this prototype program a true benefit for our customers. Our dedication to Lean Manufacturing principles and commitment of our people here at Assurance allows us to provide this valuable service to the many OEM markets that we serve.
